Profile:

Painter and potter Sarah Cannell's passion for landscape is reflected in her thrown earthenware and porcelain ceramic forms, as well as her watercolour and ink paintings.

Drawing inspiration from the marshes, footpaths and the lanes around the Waveney Valley, she creates vibrant and joyful pieces with the use of decorative underglazes in pencil, colour and transfer.

Sarah studied at Falmouth Art College between 1994 and 97, Curwen Study Print Centre, Essex University and Central St Martins. She has exhibited across the UK and has work in permanent private and public collections.

Artist: AllisterMalcolm 
Profile: Allister Malcolm is the current resident Glass Artist at Broadfield House Glass Museum. Members of the public may experience the dying art of glassmaking through his daily demonstrations.

Allister has become a renowned craftsman within his field. He is continuously expanding upon his portfolio of handmade, blown and contemporary glass artwork. His strong design sense combined with an impeccable standard of finish has created a dedicated collector base.
